Pritty Boys Family Pizzeria is a family owned business located in Seattle's Madrona Neighborhood. My wife, Janine, and I, Darren Pritt, are the owners of the restaurant. Janine and I started Pritty Boys because we wanted to bring to our neighborhood a type of restaurant we both enjoyed in our youth; a family friendly pizzeria. Having three children of our own, ranging from a toddler to a tween, we also wanted a place where families with children of all different ages could enjoy.
At Pritty Boys Family Pizzeria we offer at both lunch and dinner, pizza, pasta, salads, sandwiches, delicious starters as well as Full Tilt ice cream and other desserts. We also offer both draft and bottled beer as well as regional and Italian Wines.
Pritty Boys Pizza offers a variety of dining experiences. Our Main dining room offers something for everyone. During the dinner rush hours, between 5:30-7:30 pm, parents can enjoy each other's company as their smaller kids play in our little area and their older kids play in the adjacent game lounge. Our main dining room also offers a mellower atmosphere during the non-diner hours where customers can enjoy a quieter conversation at either a booth, table or up at our bar. In our main dining room we also have 2 HD TV's for those looking to watch live sporting events like the Sounders, Mariners or Seahawks. In our secondary dining room, we offer those looking for quieter place to enjoy our great pizza at any time of day without too many distractions. Pritty Boys Pizza also has a game lounge that offers free video games and pinball for those with older kids and the kid within us. With our game lounge and secondary dining room together, we can accommodate groups up to 40 people for those looking to have birthday parties, sports team parties or a work group looking to get together for an event. This area can be reserved upon request.
At Pritty Boys family Pizzeria, our goal is to treat everyone like our family and ensure that everyone has a great time and enjoys our food.
Janine and I are Madrona residents just a stone throws away. We have three children, Hannah born 1998, Brandon 2000 and Wilson 2009. We also have dog name Luc, a Manchester Terrier. We named our specialty pizzas after the members of our family based on what they like. Janine and I both grew up in Bellevue and went to high school together, dated in our youth and got married in 2008. Janine is also currently a flight attendant with Alaska Airlines and I am also a managing partner in another restaurant downtown named Branzino. Both of us have been involved with local charities helping the homeless as well as work internationally bringing clean water to rural areas overseas.
Byron Hummel is our Chef/Manager who hails from Puyallup WA. He comes to us from a West Seattle restaurant named Phoenecia, where his pizza won rave and critical reviews. He attended culinary school at Renton Technical College and trained under Charles Walpole at Novelty Hill Winery. Charles Walpole is regarded as one of Seattle top chefs. Byron is an avid gardener and has passion for fresh ingredients, local and sustainable products. He brings all this into his cooking at Pritty Boys Family Pizzeria. Byron's passion for food transcends his work as he is also married to chef named Anita.
Samantha Pease is our Host/Manager who is also a Madrona resident. She hails from a musical family in Bremerton WA and keeps busy outside of work by playing electric bass in local alternative bands. She has been in the restaurant since she was 16 and her last tenure was at Cupcake Royal.
